Mindful Future finished off the summer in style at The Big Cwtch Charity, Music and Food Festival in Crugybar, Carmarthenshire last weekend. This fantastic festival is in it's third year and continues to raise the bar with top quality musical acts, amazing food, kids activities and wellness sessions. We were there to deliver some mindfulness to the festival-goers and were overwhelmed with the response from all the lovely ticket holders who joined us for the Body Scan taster sessions.
We arrived on Friday to torrential rain and pitched our tents in a soggy field, expecting the worst. Friday night was spent in the shelter of the Orchard Stage, where we were entertained by some fantastic live acts. By Saturday we had dried out and brushed off the worst of the mud, hoping for some decent weather. We weren't disappointed, the sun blazed down all day long and we brushed off the mud to head to the Sanctuary tent to drum up some customers for mindfulness. With great company in the shape of yoga teacher Claire Latimir from Holistic Heaven in Cilycwm, Llandovery, http://holistic-heaven.com/, we entertained passers-by with a mixture of yoga and mindfulness sessions throughout the day. We finished off a productive day, tired and happy, dancing to the fabulous sounds of Ska band 'The Chalk Outlines', https://www.facebook.com/thechalkoutlinesuk, who were our festival faves.
Sunday morning saw us packing up and heading for the exit where tractors were towing happy campers out of the mud. We headed off home to rest and recuperate, ready to do it all again next year. Many thanks to Bethan and all at The Big Cwtch Festival for such a lovely welcome.
